East Leake Banner Group

The group makes banners for the local churches in the East Leake area and is attended by both church-goers and non church-goers.

The group welcomes members of all ages, although it is mainly ladies in their 50s to 70s who attend. Membership is free.

Meetings are held twice a month on alternate Tuesdays from 2.00pm to 4.00pm at the  Catholic Parish Room.

Lambley Church

The Sunday service is at 10am and there is a Wednesday service at 9.45am followed by tea or coffee.

A monthly service is also arranged at Spring Lane Lambley Care Home which includes communion and 5 hymns chosen by the residents in Spring Lane.

There is a Church Fete on August Bank Holiday Monday. In September a flower show is generally held in the School Hall.

West Bridgford Methodist Church

We are a thriving Christian Church, in a traditional building refurbished to modern standards and offering a warm welcome to folk of all ages. In addition to our Sunday worship, held each week at 10.30am, we have a range of fellowship groups, including a junior church, and a youth club, each meeting on Sunday, togther with Ladies Tuesday Group, a Women's Fellowship on Thursday afternoons, a Carers and toddlers group each Wednesday morning and afternoon, and a Meeting Point for older friends on Wednesday mornings. There are Faith and Light groups for adults and young people with learning disability, and each Saturday we hold a Community Coffee morning which raises funds for local and national charities.

We are home to a range of uniformed groups including Rainbows and Brownies, who meet on a Tuesday evening, and Beavers, Cubs and Scouts who meet on a Friday evening.

Our hall also hosts meetings of a wide range of community groups such as the West Bridgford Operatic Society and the Notts Wildlife Trust, as well as special interest groups including the Sandra Taylor School of Dance.

Calverton Methodist Church

The Methodist Church is part of the Nottingham and Derby District, in the Nottingham East Circuit.  The Minister is Reverend Paul Martin.  As well as Sunday Services and JAM (Jesus and Me) for children aged 3 upwards, there are weekly activities which include a well run Toddler Group for parents/carers, and fortnightly Guild, Young@Heart and Bible Studies.  Our ministry reaches out into the village community.  The Church offers its premises as lettings for other groups.

Radcliffe on Trent Food for Thought

Food for Thought meets on the first Thursday of each month at 12.15pm for 12.30pm in the schoolroom.

Home made soup, drinks and cakes are served. A mixed age range attend, there is a friendly atmosphere and All are Welcome.

A small charge of £2.50 is made. If you wish to have further information please do not hesitate to ask.

A social coffee morning open to all people of all ages.

Coffee/tea/biscuits are served and there is also a card stall.

Meetings are informal and are held every Friday morning from 9.45am to 11.30am

Radcliffe on Trent Tuesday Afternoon Fellowship

A social and friendly group for women of all ages. A variety of activities including social outings, garden parties, speakers, days out, fundraising, refreshments. The group is attended by both church-goers and non church-goers and meetings include a short devotional time.

Meetings are held fortnightly on a Tuesday afternoon from 2.00pm.

Cost - there is a small charge of approximately £1 per session to cover basic costs.
