Enable - Nottingham and Nottinghamshire - ESF Community Grants

The ESF Community Grants programme is designed to assist small not-for-profit groups based in and run by people from the community they support.

The aim of providing small grants is to give community groups an opportunity to access funding, through a simplified process, to undertake activity that helps engage and progress disadvantaged individuals in positive community work. Projects should provide an opportunity for them to develop their confidence and skills and be more able to take advantage of further opportunities that help them progress towards the labour market.

For this first application round there is a total of £586,000 funding available. Groups can apply for up to £10,000, with an expected average grant being £5,870.

Advice on project eligibility, help with application development and the submission of the application is available on a one-to-one basis. Potential applicants are advised to contact us well before the application deadline (30 March 2009) so maximum support can be provided.

For more information please contact Melanie Pythian at Enable Nottingham and Nottinghamshire on 0115 934 9505 or by email – melaniep@enable.uk.net.
